The governors of the Federation of St Cuthbert’s and St Mary’s wish to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated teachers to join our staff.  The two schools are federated and enjoy a close, friendly working relationship under the leadership of an Executive Headteacher.

The post is based at St Cuthbert’s.

St Cuthbert’s was Graded ‘Good’ with outstanding features in Ofsted 2019 and Outstanding in its Section 48 inspection.

Staff views in the Ofsted staff surveys were 100% positive.

St Cuthbert’s 2019

“Staff are fully supportive of the school’s leadership team. Teachers told inspectors that they feel well supported and enjoy working at the school. All members of staff who responded to the staff survey said that they were proud to be a member of staff at the school. They also strongly agreed that leaders have created a climate in which teachers are trusted to take risks and innovate in ways that are helpful for the pupils”
