NATIONAL SPORTS WEEK AT HOME!

Next week is the first, National Sports Week at Home. (Saturday 20th June - Friday 26th June).

As we will not be having our usual school sports day, you may like to hold your own virtual sports day at home!

It is vital that our children stay active and this is an excellent way to have fun whilst being active.

There are a range of activities you may like to try, with adaptations so that you can use equipment that you already have at home.

Children may choose to try a few different activities each day and they can compete against the rest of the family.  They may choose to repeat the same activities every day, record their results and try to improve on them, thus competing against themselves.

Feel free to make up some more activities of your own!

BE CREATIVE, BE ACTIVE AND HAVE FUN!

GOOD LUCK!

TT Rockstars Guinness World Record

TT Rockstars got in touch with GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS about how fast some of our times tables rockers are getting. After some conversations they have created a new title - "the highest score achieved on ‘Times Tables Rock Stars in one minute!"

To make an Official Attempt, players need to record a video of themselves achieving their highest score in the Studio* and send the video to support@mathscircle.com by 23:59 UK time on 4th June 2020.

The highest scores they've seen over the years have been 150+ in a single Studio game so we know the standard for this global title will be high.

Are you up for the challenge?   Practice as much as possible on studio and see what your best score is by the 4th of June.

Please see more information in the document below.
