On Monday we went to compete in the Citywide Manchester Lacrosse Competition and exceeded all expectations. Having only really practiced for 40 minutes, our year 6s got all the way to the final and narrowly missed out by 1 goal, 3-2, to a school who regularly play lacrosse. A Massive well done to the team!
On Monday our Year 5/6s went to a Lacrosse tournament at Whalley Range High School. The children adapted really well to a sport that they have never played before and showed great resilience in all of their games.
It was a great opportunity for the children to learn a new sport and the skills that come with it.
A special mention goes to Regan who won a special award for self belief. Well done to everyone involved!
